Our shielded FFC cables provide reliable protection against electromagnetic interference (EMI) – ideal for sensitive electronic applications. The flat copper conductors are laminated on both sides with polyester film and additionally equipped with a shielding foil to effectively dissipate interference.
Thanks to their high flexibility and the option of customised assembly, these cables are particularly suitable for demanding environments where signal stability is essential.
Available in various pitches (e.g. 0.50 mm to 2.54 mm) and, on request, also with connected shielded single wires – perfectly tailored to your application.
HOT-MELT
Additional reinforcement and protection through hot-melt technology
Our FFC cables are equipped with an aluminium shielding foil, which is permanently bonded to the polyester carrier using hot-melt technology at 150 °C. This connection makes the cable particularly flexible while also robust against mechanical stress.
The hot-melt process ensures an irreversible bond between the shielding and the polyester insulation – ideal for applications that require high flexibility alongside effective shielding. This technology not only enhances the durability of the cables but also simplifies assembly, as the reinforced areas allow for secure handling – perfect for demanding applications in the automotive, medical, or mechanical engineering sectors.

Gold Plating
Gold-coated contact surfaces for maximum conductivity & corrosion protection
For particularly demanding applications, we offer FFC cables with electroplated gold conductors. The gold coating enhances conductivity, reduces contact resistance, and provides long-lasting protection against corrosion – ideal for environments with high mating cycles or aggressive conditions.
The gold plating is applied to the rolled material via an electroplating process before cable manufacturing. It is especially recommended when the connectors used also feature gold-plated contact pins.
Our gold-plated FFC cables are the perfect solution for applications requiring the highest standards of reliability, durability, and contact quality – for example in medical technology, measurement technology, or industrial electronics.

FOLDING
Pre-folded versions for space-saving integration
Modern mobile devices are characterised by their compact design and low weight – often making assembly challenging. Pre-folded FFC cables offer the ideal solution: precisely pre-folded, they enable simple, quick, and cost-effective installation.
With precisely defined folds, cable routing is optimally adapted to your assembly geometry. Combined with adhesive corners or fixing points, folded FFC cables remain dimensionally stable and easy to mount – ensuring fast and reliable integration. Individually tailored to your requirements, these folds help reduce assembly time and minimise potential errors.

ADHESIVE SOLUTIONS
Customised adhesive options for fixing and installation
For secure and efficient cable routing, we offer FFC cables with integrated adhesive corners or full-surface adhesive backing. These allow precise fixing directly at the desired position – whether on PCBs, housings, or within mechanically constrained assemblies. This simplifies installation while ensuring stable cable guidance.
Especially in combination with folded FFCs, adhesive solutions ensure compact and stable routing – significantly simplifying assembly and reducing mechanical stress.

HIGH TEMPERATURE
Heat-resistant FFC cables for extreme operating conditions
Our high-temperature FFC cables with silicone jackets are designed for applications where conventional FFCs become brittle due to heat or large temperature fluctuations.
They comply with standards UL 20861, UL 2643, and UL 20941 and are rated for temperatures up to 105 °C by default. Thanks to silicone tape applied during the production process, heat resistance can be increased to up to 150 °C.
The silicone tape is an integral part of the manufacturing process and cannot be applied afterwards. The cables feature a base material film thickness of 38 μm and an overall thickness of 80 ± 5 μm.

IMPENDANCE-CONTROLLED
High-speed FFC cables with defined signal integrity
Our impedance-controlled FFC cables are specifically designed for high-speed applications such as LVDS, USB, or other serial data transmissions, where signal integrity and consistent impedance are critical.
A single-sided shielding with an aluminium-PET laminate foil precisely tunes the electrical characteristics of the conductor to a differential impedance – typically 100 ohms. Optionally, an additional hot-melt or aluminium shield can be added for grounding purposes.
We offer impedance-controlled FFCs in pitches of 0.50 mm and 1.00 mm, with a minimum order quantity of 250 pieces. Lengths and other specifications can, of course, be customised to your requirements.

SIDE-CATCHER
Side catchers for secure and stable plug connections
FFC cables with side retainers feature elements at the cable ends that provide additional stability when inserting into FFC/FPC connectors. They enhance mechanical guidance, prevent slippage, and simplify correct positioning of the cable.
Especially in cases of frequent mating or vibration-prone environments, side catchers increase the service life and reliability of the connection.
Our side-catcher solutions are compatible with various pitches and are manufactured exactly to your installation requirements.
PRINTING
Custom labelling and printing according to customer specification
In demanding industries such as medical technology, aerospace, or defence, clear cable identification is indispensable. Our FFC cables can be permanently and smudge-proof printed directly during production – entirely according to your specifications.
Whether batch numbers, article or part numbers, manufacturing dates, logos, or company markings – the options are versatile. Printing can be applied per piece or as a laminated film, depending on requirements.
