Heat resistant
Silicone-coated FFC cables can be used where large temperature differences or heat make traditional FFCs brittle and damaged.
Temperature resistance up to 105 °C is currently possible with UL 20861, UL 2643 and UL 20941 – with the new silicone tape, heat resistance up to 150 °C can be achieved. The silicone tape itself is applied in the current production process and unfortunately can not be applied later.
