USB4 | Type C data cable
KAB-USB4.0-C-M-USB4.0-C-M-0800RKHere we present our first USB 4.0 product. It is a USB4, Generation 3, Type C data cable.
USB 4.0 achieves speeds of up to 40 Gbit/s | 2500 MB/s, which is twice the data transfer rate of current USB 3.2 cables. The USB4 Gen. 3 cable is compatible with existing USB 3.2, USB 2.0 and Thunderbolt™ 3 devices. It supports PD 3.0 (USB Power Delivery Revision 3.0) with 20 V | 5 A power delivery. The cable has a coaxial cable structure and is supplied in the standard length of 800 mm.

The new USB4 - Thunderbolt™ features in the USB standard
USB 4.0 (or USB4) represents the latest development stage of the USB interface standard. It is a high-speed interface for a variety of peripheral devices. USB4 uses USB C type connectors. This connector has 24 pins and can use all available lines. The interface is downward compatible, two separate lines enable the transmission of USB 2.0 and USB 1.1 signals.
USB 4.0 was developed on the basis of Thunderbolt™ 3. Thanks to the Thunderbolt™ protocol, USB4 is faster than ever before. Compared to the still widely used USB 3.1 (10 Gbit/s), the transfer speed with USB4 is now four times faster. In addition, USB takes over some of the capabilities and properties of Thunderbolt™, including the possibility of combining numerous other interfaces and protocols. For example: PCI Express, DisplayPort and host-to-host transfers can be tunnelled.
